For NUMERIK JENA, efficient, transparent processes are important. That already starts with the application process. From simple and convenient application to recruitment—it is important for us that you always know where you stand with your application and what the next steps in the selection process are.

 Submitting the application

You can submit your application documents via our online application tool directly to the respective position on our website. Alternatively, send us your application as a PDF document by email. Your contact person is indicated for each of the displayed positions. If there is no suitable position listed, we would also be pleased to receive your unsolicited application. In that case, please describe as precisely as possible which company divisions and activities you are particularly interested in.

Surveying the documents

The relevant HR manager will check your documents and, if suitable, forward them to the supervisor in the relevant department.

Invitation for an interview

If your profile fits the position, we will invite you to a personal discussion with the HR manager and the supervisor of the relevant department. During the process we will talk about your vita as well as your work history and experience. We will inform you about the desired position and about working at NUMERIK JENA. Feel free to ask questions important to you during this talk.

Second interview

If you made a good impression in the first interview we usually invite you for a second one. Here we discuss, for example, still open questions from the first interview, your future tasks and the working environment.

Contract offer

After the successful personal meeting you will then receive a contract offer.

A warm welcome to NUMERIK JENA

Your first day of work begins with an event in the HR department. This is where you get the most important information about working at NUMERIK JENA. Around noon you will then start your new job in the department

Full-time employees have a 38-hour work week. The start and end of work can be flexibly arranged according to the flexitime framework from 6 am to 8 pm.

At NUMERIK JENA, all employees not only receive performance-based remuneration based on the collective wage agreement of the metal and electrical industry in Thuringia, but also a variety of other benefits and offers:

  • Vacation pay and Christmas allowance
  • Performance bonus
  • Additional pay according to collective agreement (T-ZUG)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Own cafeteria with subsidized catering (also vegetarian and vegan)

The vacation entitlement is 30 days per year. The company closes for a few days for the company holiday between Christmas and New Year's Day. The specific duration of the company holiday is decided on a yearly basis.
