We have flexible working hours from 6 am to 8 pm. The flexitime framework without a fixed core time gives you the freedom to divide and organize your time according to your needs. Combined with a 38-hour week (future 35-hour week) and 30 days of annual leave, this allows you to achieve a good work-life balance.

Company pension scheme

After working for NUMERIK JENA, we want you to be covered by a pension plan. To this end, we offer you employer-financed pension benefits, possibly combined with employee-financed deferred compensation in contracts with the MetallRente pension fund.

FAQ: the most frequently asked questions about our job offers

Full-time employees have a 38-hour work week. The start and end of work can be flexibly arranged according to the flexitime framework from 6 am to 8 pm.

At NUMERIK JENA, all employees not only receive suitable remuneration based on the collective wage agreement of the metal and electrical industry in Thuringia, but also a variety of other benefits and offers:

The vacation entitlement is 30 days per year. The company closes for a few days for the company holiday between Christmas and New Year's Day. The specific duration of the company holiday is decided on a yearly basis.

Job offers for experienced professionals

To strengthen our R&D department, we are looking for an Electronics developer for the earliest possible starting date

Your future responsibilities will include:

  • New and further development of electronic circuits for signal processing in optical sensors as well as implementation of various interfaces and customer-specific adaptations
  • Verification, testing and optimization of the designed circuits
  • Programming of microcontrollers, FPGAs and ASICs
  • Collaboration in development projects from the design phase through to series production
  • Independent planning and execution of the necessary tests as well as corresponding type and standard tests
  • Specification of limit values and test procedures for series production
  • Creation of documentation and technical documents
  • Supporting other departments with electronic issues

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a similar field of study
  • Profound knowledge in the development, setup and testing of electronic circuits
  • Experience in programming microcontrollers and FPGAs desirable
  • Team and communication skills and hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to cooperate constructively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Good written and spoken German (C1) and English (B1) skills
